Stabilo 10 longer candle wick, pretabbed, 150mm

STABILO (CD) candle wick is a flat braided cotton wick with paper threads woven into the cotton. The reinforced construction of the wick is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads, especially with softer, more viscous natural waxes. The Stabilo wicks are great for natural waxes and for soy wax, for pillar candles and container candles.

The superior rigidity of STABILO wick allows the wick to stand up straighter for easier pours and keeps the wick upright in a deep melt pool. STABILO wicks are lead and zinc free.

    Description

    Wedo STABILO wick is a high quality lead and zinc free wick made in Germany. Stabilo wicks are amongst the best wicks on the market for scented candle applications. They are used extensively by professional manufacturers throughout Europe and the US. Due to their consistency and technical characteristics, they are often used in a number of applications, including jar candles and pillar candles. Formerly known as CD wicks, the Stabilo wicks are coreless, non-directional, flat braided wicks with a special paper filament woven around them. This configuration is engineered to promote maximum and consistent capillary action while ensuring a wick trimming flame posture. The Stabilo series is used in many different appliations and is especially compatible with a highly scented paraffin/blended wax and a harder-to-melt vegetable based wax.

    STABILO wicks combine the highest grade wick materials, state of the art braiding and spooling technology as well as tried, tested and approved chemical treatments to provide the cleanest and safest possible burn in the materials in question. The materials and processes also ensure consistent product quality from start to finish and from batch to batch. Wedo only manufactures wicks which fulfill the stringent requirements of the European quality seal RAL GZ 041. Wedo is certified according to EN ISO 9001:2008.

They should be taken as a starting point for testing purposes only, as burning rates may well differ due to variations between different candle systems. Trial and error is the only way to ensure correct wicking.
